5 Signs Your Wall Needs Attention

1) Leaning

One of the most obvious warning signs is a wall that is beginning to lean forward or backward. This can happen when soil pressure or water buildup becomes too great behind the wall.

2) Cracking

Small surface cracks aren't always a major concern, but large, growing, or structural cracks should be inspected. Cracks can indicate movement or pressure that may eventually compromise the wall.

3) Bulging

A bulging section is often a sign that the wall is experiencing excessive pressure. This problem can become significantly worse if it isn't addressed.

4) Landscape Growth

Changes or. Growth in landscape behind the wall can cause structural damage. When tree or shrub roots grow large enough they can start pushing the wall in the wrong direction. This can cause building, leaning, separation or even start seeing dirt wash through the wall. This is a sing your wall needs great attention before the plants continue to grow.

5) Seperation

Loose blocks, separated sections, or areas that appear to be collapsing are serious warning signs. Waiting too long to address these problems can lead to a complete wall failure.
